The Reading Terminal Market was across from the conference hotel. I ate most of my meals, and snacks, at the market. There are a couple of dozen places to eat in the market and the Pennsylvania Dutch have stands there Wednesday through Saturday. I did not manage to eat any scrapple or apple dumplings this visit. The best meal I had was pork and sauerkraut with mashed potatoes and gravy at the Dutch Eating Place. In case you visit, the eclairs at Braverman's Bakery are better than those at Termini Brothers.

The chocolate-covered onions were available from Chocolate By Mueller. They are obviously a novelty item meant to be seen and not eaten. The onions haven't even been peeled. Yet, check out the rude sign! Uh, if you don't want people to ask you stupid ("Is that really an onion?") questions then don't use a publicity stunt.

Great pictures, as always. Those chocolate-covered onions had me wondering ...

Imagine actually taking a bite. What would that taste like? (Of course, that would depend on the type of onion, right?)
