Geese, April 22nd
Same geese, May 20th
There are several families of Canadian geese on our campus. The largest has seven goslings. The other familes have only two or three goslings. The parents were very protective of the young. They hissed at me and charged at me, but I managed to snap a couple of pictures.
We have baby turtles, too. Want to see pictures?

Rich, these pictures were taken at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory campus. Ten miles north of the George Washington Bridge on the west side of the Hudson.
