Shake Shack

shake shack

shake shack

hot dog, fries, shake

Today was the official opening day of the much-anticipated Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. I stopped by yesterday for a sneak preview. I am happy to report that the fries and vanilla shake were excellent. The Chicago hot dog less so. As you can see, there wasn't much dog there compared to a real Chicago hot dog. It also had an odd taste (maybe the celery salt?).

This sparrow was looking mighty intently at my fries.

yeah, my friend was there just the other day and she said that they put too much stuff on it. lettuce? i didn't see no lettuce on my chicago dog.

The sad thing is I had the chicago dog at last year's precursor to the Shake Shack and it was delish. Do you prefer chicago dogs or new york dogs?

well, the chicao dog i had was very tasty. but i do love me a good ole plain dog. i would say they are so different, you can't compare them.
