Doughnut Plant Deliciousness

Every once in a while I like to have myself a doughnut. The Doughnut Plant on Grand St. makes excellent doughnuts. Yesterday morning was one of those whiles. Luckily, I was just a couple blocks away (funny how that worked out). The doughnuts here are outstanding and expensive ($2 each!). I've had their standard vanilla bean doughnut, and tried the white peach last summer. The lavender doughnut did not appeal to me, so I tried the cinnamon roll (a relative bargain at $1.75). Very light and cinnamon-ny! I prefer more substantial cinnamon rolls, like the plate-sized buns they serve at the Blue Benn in Bennington, Vermont. Also this morning I tried the Doughnut Plant's Korean Ice Tea. According to the sign it contained water, ginger, cinnamon, and sugar but not tea.

Oh My, that looks so yummy. Can I have a bite? I LOVE cinnamon rolls! :)

I'd love to share some, but it didn't last too long. Sorry!

Now Cinnamon Tea comes in a convenient pyramid shapped tea bag.

The tea bag works like a mini tea pot and is full of Ceylon Cinnamon.
