After nearly 38 years of being missing, Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church has a new steeple. The original steeple was damaged in a fire in January 1969. The 37-foot, 7000 pound lead-coated copper and steel steeple was put in place this morning. The Times has the story of today's installation, but they didn't cover the fire in 1969.
