Change on the Horizon

So I'm looking out my window the other morning when I saw what appears to be a new building on the horizon.  Normally I wouldn't have noticed but there was a giant red arrow in the sky pointing to it.  The arrow was pointing to the glassy and charmless new apartment building, Avalon Morningside Park, quickly rising next to St. John the Divine.  Last March the site looked like this.
