i usually would open it.. because the person would never know if you opened it early anyway.. well, unless you posted it on your site!!!

tien

and what if it contains perishable goods?!? maybe it needs to be eaten right away!!

joe

nothing perishable. shy Ms. Romy, Ph.D. has checked in offline and says to wait. She knows me too well to know that will never happen. Besides, I can see through the wrapping paper!

rachelle

is it martha stewart living!?

rachelle

and do you go by "joey" ?

joe

I think, I hope, it is the martha stewart living parody.

Romy is the only non-relative who calls me joey. joe is preferred but I'll answer to joey. I won't respond to joseph, though, as it isn't my name.

rachelle

so on your birth certificate it says "joe"? i recently asked my friend eddie if his "real name" was eduardo and he's like "no.. it's eddie". i like it when people name their kids what they want to call them and not name them something then call them something else.

joe

Oops, I was a bit cryptic there. My given name is "Joachim". Same as my father's (he is from germany). My parents named me Joachim and my sister "Judy Ann" with the intent of calling us that, but it has always been Judy and joey when I was young, or joe now,

rachelle

ahh. now it makes sense.. yes, schumacher is a nice german name.. i knew lots of schumachers in wi. and you pronounce it shew-mock-er, right? one of my good friend's here's last name is shoemaker.. pronounced just like a man who makes shoes.. heh. but all of them in wi were spelled & pronounced like your name.
