Dan and Zoe making pumpkin pies.

This picture of Taipei was by my door Thanksgiving morning. Emma helped make it.

Turkey!

There was much crawling under the table.

Dessert!

Kids!
I spent Thanksgiving week at my sister's. It was a lot of fun. My nieces and I played hide-and-seek and read many bedtime stories. I got to walk Emma home from school. We went to a furniture store that had a trapeze, dancing water fountains, and several jellybean sculptures. Thanksgiving dinner was at Heidi's. The food was excellent, with all the expected Thanksgiving dishes. It is a long story, but the turkey was accidentally picked up from the grocery without paying for it. It was a good turkey. For dessert my brother-in-law Dan made two pumpkin pies, Heidi made a fig tart and I made a cranberry-pear pie from a recipe I found the day before. All were delicious.
