After answer Beth's question about the cormorant swimming with just its head above water and diving underwater I noticed that I photographs of both. Can you spot the turtles in the two photos above?
Nobody asked this question, but the power by which a cormorant eliminates waste is impressive. Note the trail to the left of the bird below.
