Piles of Snow in Valdez

I want to go back to Valdez in late-winter.  The piles of snow around town at that time must be enormous.  There were still several large, dirty snow mountains around town in early June. 

I'm determined to bring the Alaska photos to an end by Saturday.  That'll mark two months since my return, which is probably more than enough time to be posting vacation photos.

Great photos! My two cents -- I think the best time to go to Valdez is in March, talk about your huge walls of snow. And? Great skiing around that time in that area too. I haven't been for years, but your photos have me thinking it's about time to pay a visit. :)
