Old 9W is the portion of 9W in northern Bergen County that was abandoned when the Palisades Interstate Parkway was built. It runs a little over a mile from the Stateline Lookout to the state line. The old road makes for a nice escape from the office in the afternoon.
Totally bizzare: New York changed their tax forms this year. One "improvement" is that all taxpayers must now fill out form IT-2 instead of attaching a copy of their W-2 form. What is form IT-2? A transcription of all the information on the W-2. I suppose the advantage of the IT-2 is that it is machine readable but, jeez, it just seems dumb to transcribe a dozen numbers from one form to another.
Your pain is my pain is our pain. The tax form is n-u-t-z nuts.
Speaking of pain, Tom Cruise will be dropping by Harlem, as per AMnewyork.

i think it's scannable. reduces paper for them. i think it helps them when they do the internet returns/turbotax. that kind of stuff.

I saw the small print later about it being scannable while assembling my return.
