This picture has nothing to do with the story.
Yesterday was laundry day because our laundry room is being closed for an upgrade next week. I gathered my warm, dry, clean clothes and headed to the elevator. There's a guy on the elevator talking loudly into his cellphone. He is going to a floor above mine. He charges off ahead of me when the elevator stops at my floor. I try to say something but he is walking with a purpose and still talking loudly on the phone. He turns down my hallway, my apartment is half-way down a long hallway, and I hear him temporarily lower his voice and say,
"I got off the elevator on the wrong floor."
Yet he continues walking down the hall!
*lol*
Here in Vienna, on Saturday afternoon, cell phone talkers were overtaken by an urge to go public with their private grievances, one even acting and crying as if she was performing in a Greek drama, and that down in the Metro station, echoing all over. Well, beats the "Can you hear me?" routine. :-)
Have a great week!
