The Museum of Science in Boston has a nice Baseball exhibit put together by Hall of Fame people in Cooperstown. All about the science of hitting, throwing, how the bats are made, etc. They had one of Ty Cobb's shirts. It was really beautiful. I know that seems like a strange word to describe a baseball shirt but it was a hand sewn, thick linen or cotton, simple strings and original logo on it. It was one of the items that really transported you back in time.

I like the old uniforms. Ted Williams wrote a book called The Science of Hitting.
