Washington County Courthouse and Elaborate Bus Stop

Check out the elaborate bus stop in front of the Washington County Courthouse in Marietta.

Marietta was the nicest town I visited on my Ohio trip last fall.  There were businesses and people downtown!  The neighborhoods surrounding downtown were attractive, neat and well-kept.

Unfortunately for me I was suffering a bit of vacation burn out at this point.  I walked around a bit but was not in the mood to take pictures.  Thinking maybe Iunch would snap me out of my bad mood I went into Tampico Mexican, a couple of blocks down from the courthouse.  The food was good, I ate way too much, and I set off exploring Marietta a bit more.  Even though I found this amazing van, I still wasn't in the mood.

Perhaps, I thought to myself, I was out-of-sorts in anticipation of the next site on the trip...
