Eastside High

The only other thing I knew about Paterson is that Eastside High was the infamous high school of Lean On Me, the 1989 movie in which Morgan Freeman plays principal Joe Clark and yells at people with a bullhorn.  If the building doesn't jibe with your memory of the movie that's because the school shots were of the Academy of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the much leafier suburb of Franklin Lakes.
