This mysterious pipe thing is in Nebraska City. What is its purpose? The only guess I can come up with is that it was once used to pump water into fire trucks.
Nebraska City is the home of Arbor Day! I guess the downtown is cute but it didn't do much for me. Maybe I was just hungry and knew I had to travel on down the road to get lunch.

These pipes are used to fill the street cleaners of Nebraska City. Every curbed street has it turn being scrubbed.
