There's an ever-changing display of educational chalk art on the west side of Lenox Ave between 130th and 131st streets. The art is drawn by an older gentleman and is almost always math-oriented. He usually also includes a sentence or two saying why knowing math is important.
The chalk drawings are large enough to make it difficult to photograph. If only I were six feet taller! Luckily, the Google Street View camera captured a more elaborate drawing.
