I've been trying to figure this sign out. We are looking south here. That's the Alexander Hamilton Bridge over the Harlem River in the foreground and High Bridge in the background. The Hamilton Bridge is having some repair work done on it. The sign is on the bike path and is facing opposite the northbound car traffic on the Harlem River Drive. It can't be for the southbound car traffic as it is on the left across several lanes of traffic. Is for bicyclists? The bridge is a good 40-50 feet overhead. Out of extreme precaution I ducked while riding under the bridge, but it didn't seem necessary.
it's probably for bicycling giraffes.

I haven't seen any of those but I'll keep an eye out for them.
