Curb Your Dog's Enthusiasm, Part 1

It was several months ago that I took the top photo. The sign is on a staid-looking building at the far west end of 72nd St. Two things about the sign caught my eye. First, the passive-aggressive "polite society" language that studiously avoids directly saying "Hey, peabrain, don't let your dog crap/piss on our building", and, second, the euphemistic "Outdoor Cleanliness Ass'n". I guess "Building Committee for Keeping Dog Crap off our Sidewalk" wasn't to their liking.

Since the Dog Days of August are upon us I'm devoting the rest of this week to "Curb Your Dog" signs.
